Restore With Existing Gravel

If your current gravel driveway has enough gravel, and it needs to be re-graded and restored, we use a harley rake attachment on a skid steer. The attachment pulverizes the existing gravel and spreads gravel evenly across the driveway. We then touch up and grade if necessary, followed by proper compaction across the driveway.

Add Gravel

If your current gravel driveway needs to come up and be re-graded, we add gravel and grade. We spread gravel across the entire driveway and then grade properly to ensure proper drainage. Proper compaction completes this process.

Confirm new driveway layout either with an existing site survey or helping obtain one along with city permits and whether a culvert is required.

Clear Land / Excavate

Clear trees as required and excavate for the new gravel base. Compact soil sub-base before gravel installation.

Install Geotextile Fabric

If geotextile fabric is selected for your new road installation, which we recommend, we install this after soil sub-base compaction before gravel.

Install Gravel Base

Install new gravel base, grade and compact. Each road depth will depend on specific site conditions and scope of work.

What types of gravel driveway services do you offer?

Which is better, asphalt millings or gravel?

They both are great at staying firm and compacted. Asphalt millings usually cost just a little bit more to install. Asphalt millings offer a smoother end result.

How do you ensure there won't be water pooling when grading the driveway?

We measure the grade before, during and after the gravel or asphalt grindings are installed, ensuring the correct slope allowing water to run off.

Is there anything I can do to help maintain my gravel driveway?

Yes, you can spread calcium chloride chips before rainfall to help keep the gravel bonded together.

How long does the process take?

For most gravel driveways they will take one day, while larger ones could take two days.

Are there any less expensive options for fixing my driveway?

The least expensive option we offer is a restoration where we use the existing gravel, this saves material costs and time.
