Once everything’s a go, we start the construction process which includes; building a strong base, screeding a perfect setting bed, laying the interlock, adding reinforcements around all edges, and finally polymeric sanding the joints.

The soil type will also be considered when determining the base construction. This ensures a solid foundation which is the most crucial part for interlock longevity.

Sealing your interlock pavers is totally optional and not required. Applying sealant can help protect against stains, enhance their appearance, and extend their lifespan. Once you start sealing you have to re-apply every 2-3 years depending on weather conditions and usage.

Interlock maintenance is simple. Keep it clean of leaves and debris. Maintain your polymeric joint sand. Correct uneven pavers throughout the interlock lifetime. Joint sand typically needs to be replaced every 8-12 years. The process entails blasting out all joint sand and installing new joint sand. We offer this service if you don't want to do it yourself.
