FAQ

How does the interlock installation process go?
The interlock process begins with a consultation and typically a 2D design. Once everything’s a go, we start the construction process which includes; building a strong base, screeding a perfect setting bed, laying the interlock, adding reinforcements around all edges, and finally polymeric sanding the joints.
Interlock has many advantages over other paving methods such as; enhanced durability, aesthetic versatility, better load distribution, super easy repairs, and no cracking risk. Interlock holds its value on your investment longer than concrete and asphalt.
The cost of interlock paving varies based on the type of pavers, project size, and design complexity. While it may have a higher initial cost than concrete or asphalt, the durability and aesthetic appeal often make it a more cost-effective long-term investment.
Our warranty covers a 5 year workmanship for the structural integrity of the installation. We provide detailed information about the terms and coverage during the consultation process.
We follow best industry practices for base installation, including proper compaction, quality aggregates, and even geo-textiles through-out the base if needed. The soil type will also be considered when determining the base construction. This ensures a solid foundation which is the most crucial part for interlock longevity.
Interlock can last up to 30+ years with a strong base and minimal maintenance.
Interlock maintenance is simple. Keep it clean of leaves and debris. Maintain your polymeric joint sand. Correct uneven pavers throughout the interlock lifetime. Joint sand typically needs to be replaced every 8-12 years. The process entails blasting out all joint sand and installing new joint sand.
A landscape design allows you to see your space before it is built, ensuring there are no mistakes in your dream landscape.
